Photographer's Note

This is my first posting on ruins categories. well its not actually building ruins or historical monument ruins... its just a tree. but what can a tree do? nah, your'e bulls**ting if you don't...

it was an outdoor recreation activity somewhere in Tawau, an area almost close to the border of Indonesia-Kalimantan. This tree could have survived and "save" us from disaster (you know what i mean), but instead, something happened... this could be a log that could cost thousands, but i wonder how did it ended up wasted and...

wel it could be caused by lightnings... but obviously surrounding it are men-cultivated Sawit-palm trees. and i wonder if the work of planting these has caused this scenario. they could have just chopped it down and walaa... cash in hands. but my other instint tells me that it was actually purposedly left (alive) when lightning with all its might struck it dead (whithout knowing what sin it has commited;p)... either way, its really a waste...

the people in the frame was purposedly included, i didn't exclude them since my intention was to scale up this tree a living men, so that you'll know how big the tree was in actuall size.

Photo taken ofcourse not that-superbv$%^&*(.... as you might think... but im now practising in documentary shoots... leave your comments or anything that might help.... thats if youre kind enough for a passage...
