Photographer's Note

This is one of the more reknowned Chinese temple in Melaka besides so many more. It is located in the heart of the city. As the local comes to pray and the tourist visits these people of the temple,(as I would like to call them), are there everyday living through kindly donations and food given by worshippers and visitors. In order to prevent belligerent intrusion into the praying area Security guard is posted at the temple entrance. However he is a kindly old guy, more entertaining than anything else. He is of a Portugese decendant.
