Before Fishing Begins, a photo from Selangor, West

Photographer's Note

These fishing boats are meant for coastal fishing along the Straits Of Malacca. The boats are loaded with fishing gears and waiting for the tide to come in before leaving the jetty. It was late evening, there was still time to relax, puff a cigarette or two, have a cup of coffee before they are off for a whole night fishing. Early dawn the nest day the fishermans will be back with their catch and buyers will be lining the jetty to buy their fresh fish.

What a lovely and tranquil village scene. Exactly how I would imagine it if I were to visit there. Very beautiful colour and sharpness. Great composition. Well done.

Great scene and well-captured. If I were you, I would try to use a more wide angle though. Wonder if there are any reason you avoided it. You were zooming from far? Colors have come out really impressive; the reflections too!

Hi Mustapha, The colours & light are both superb, you composition & the POV stand out & work brilliantly, razor sharp focus, A very nice photo, the posting is just a little small, however still a great shot, kind regards Wilson.
