Dedicated to Tom, who does portraits too.
This Tai Lue lady in Ban Nam Ngen (i think) about 10 km east of Luang Namtha town, was part of about 80 people queing up when I came back to the village to distribute some of the pictures I took on my first visit. I suspect her left eye is out of service, I didn't ask her age, I think she'd be in her late sixties, which is OLD here. In spite of her visual handicap, she radiated dignity and kindness.
Tai Lue are reknown for their weaving.
