Photographer's Note

This is the first of a few photos I'm going to upload of the Japanese Red-Crowned Cranes in Hokkaido. Well, actually, as you can see, this first post is of some sparrows that I caught as they took to the wing in front of the Cranes. I just liked the idea of having one of the most common birds taking front stage to one of the most splendid and beautiful birds I've had the pleasure to make a photograph of.
I want to start uploading some other stuff, so I'll stop posting crane shots for now. There are some thirty or so shot's of these birds on my Web site if you are still interested in taking a look.
