Photographer's Note
This was the first time for me to witness the festival float was fallen down. They went into the junction corner with too much speed, so this tragedy was occurred. Very fortunately there was no injured, that seemed to be a miracle. But participants said the reason was because they were guarded by the Gods as they celebrated the God via their participation on the festival-----. I could not help agreeing their opinions.

Hello Takero,
Knowing that nobody was injured this is quite an amusing photo. At least it is surprising and very well timed. All your photos from various festivals look so perfect, so I can't help smiling a bit when something goes wrong just for once. It shows that humans are not always perfect, even if the gods may protect them.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Takero,
That is a surprising event. And you were on the right place with your camera. I had no idea that such floats would be carried with fast speed. Some people look surprised while some have not yet noticed what's happening.

Hi Takero,
A great piece of photojournalism. You were quick to take a photo at just the right time, and it is sharp and well exposed. We can see the varied looks on people's faces. If the gods exist, wouldn't they just stop this accident from happening?

Hello Takero,
While it's always nice to see your festival photos, here you show us something different, and it's an interesting scene! It's lucky that nobody was hurt; that float looks very heavy. Looking at the peoples faces, some of the spectators in the background looked very surprised, with their mouths wide open. Take care!

A splendid shot you're quick on the trigger, too bad for the subject but lucky no one was injured. However, it's great for the photographer, I would say that Asahi Shimbun media would love this shot as well. Well done capturing the moment, pin sharp and colourful. Excellent
Best regards
