Photographer's Note

Nara is a city located close to Osaka and Kyoto. It has a population of around 350 000 inhabitants. Nara is famous for different temples such as Todai-ji and Kofuku-ji, especially Todai-ji having the greatest bronze Buddha statue in the world.
Another thing to notice in Nara are the great numbers of Sika deer, walking in and around the temple areas. These seem to be used to humans, as many japanese like to touch and feed them. Nevertheless, the horns of male deer get cut to prevent injuries.
