Special thanks to Takero for the information support during my Japanese tour'2015.

Bonjour Serghei, mon voisin aujourd’hui... :)
I remember when I was a child that I won a Kodak Instamatic in a “balloon contest”, it had a leather case and my father learned me a little bit about the primary rules... And most difficult was to “keep the feet inside the frame” because, at that time, what you saw wasn’t what you got - much - later on your photos and you had to be careful because it was quite expensive...
Just a thought which came to my mind just now... I mean... She is absolutely beautiful but I wondered WHY you cut off her feet? :) And the background is very annoying...
But, because I will give you just a little palegreen smile for this one, I will send you my most warm regards to recomfort you! ;)
Viviane
PS: I am mailing Rob / Alvaraalto so maybe he can help me with my plans and we may make an announcement on TE forum.

Hello Serghei,
I think it is a bit funny to see someone in a fantastic traditional dress standing in a very ordinary street. Maybe it's a sign that in Japan some traditions are so strong that they are still natural parts of modern society. I saw the complaint that you had cut off her feet. I didn't care about that, because the photo so clearly is concentrated on her clothes, face and umbrella. If you had intended to show her entire body it would have been a clumsy mistake to cut off parts of her feet, but I think you made a decision that the lower parts of her legs were not important for this particular photo. I like it for the fine colours and well handled light.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Serghei
I have been to Kyoto several times. You were lucky to find such an obliging and attractive and colorfully dressed Japanese woman. I might have cropped horizontally up to the wheel of the bike, but the blue circle of the sign is a nice counterbalance to the red circle of the umbrella, so I wouldn't touch the vertical cropping. Tfs!

Hello Serghie,
This young lady is a real eye-catcher in her traditional costume and with her backlit red parasol. Excellent street portrait with superb colours and clarity.
I was in Malaysia for two weeks at the beginning of October; I am now back home. I spent three nights in George Town but I had been there some fifteen years ago when we saw most of the main sights outside the town. This time I wanted concentrate on the town itself. Three to four nights there is probably about right. Cheers!

Hello Serghei,
When in Japan, I can't think of anything more beautiful or characterful, than this!
You were so lucky to come upon this photo shoot.
The Japanese lady looks amazing and so sharp.
I might have been tempted to isolate her a little more by blurring the b/g but, apart from that, well done.
Perhaps I should wish you good night, though it is early afternoon, here,
Bev :-)

Hi Serghei
Great street photo showing scenes like taken from two different centuries. The red umbrella makes for a perfect background for your "model's" face.
Best wishes

Hello Serghei,
This young lady looks beautiful in her traditional clothes and make-up. I also like the way the light is hitting her umbrella. I see that some people like the additional bit of street scene on the left; personally, I prefer to focus on the woman. I don't mind that her legs are missing. I made a WS with my idea for this photo. I hope you like it. :-) By the way, when will you arrive in NY?

Hello Serghei,
A fantastic photo of this young lady and her beautiful, traditional clothes. Her head is surrounded so nicely by the red of her parasol. The sunlight was also great. Have a wonderful trip to the U.S.

Beautifully photo-cut where we see the beautiful traditional dress of the Japanese lady so special against the expressions of contemporary Japan.
