Furano and Biei are towns in the center of Hokkaido, known for their pleasant and picturesque rural landscapes. Furano's flower fields attract large numbers of visitors to the region every summer, when the plants are in full bloom. There are numerous flower fields of various sizes all across Furano.

The best spot to view the lavender is Farm Tomita, whose lavender and flower fields with the Tokachi mountain range as backdrop are spectacular.

Hello May, We had so many nice pictures with the lavender fields, made by Akita. What a pity he has left the site. The poppies here are also charming and unlike ours, in different colours, not only red. Beautiful composition.

J'avais dйjа admirй cette photo sur facebook ce matin. Elle est vraiment trиs belle avec toutes ces fleurs а l'avant plan. Mais ce qui fait notre bonheur c'est surtout le ciel.

Beautiful picture with a strong composition of the grass and poppies field and the half clouded sky and in between a stroke with the blue maintains and the dark green hedge.
