Photographer's Note
I took this photograph at the village of Kusamba, which is located at east of Bali, near the bat cave temple and near the region Candi Dasa, Bali. This village is well-knowned as a fisherman village and also the village of salt farmer.
In the photo, you could see that the salt farmer, was bringing the sea-water in his traditional pail, to the beach and then, he will watering the sand with the sea-water. This is the first step. After that, he will put the sand in a special tool inside his hut and wash it with the sea water, until it produces a salty liquid. And then, he will put it (the salty liquid) outside, under the sun-light, to dry it and.. that's how the salt came from..
If my 1st and 2nd photos of this series was taken during sunrise, so this time I posting a photograph taken after sunrise. I just want to share with you how this salt farmer look like (as in my last 2 photos he was in silhouette), his hat, his traditional pail,...
Everyday he has to go up and down from the beach to the place where he will watering the sand with the sea-water.
I hope you like it.
PEACE !
