This was a hurried snap, it's one of those moments that simply passes in front of the lens without warning...

I was at the main entrance of Fort Oranje, a historic Dutch fort built in 1607 by Cornelis Mitelief De Jonge of the VOC. It stands in the centre of Ternate town on the gentle slope of Gamalama volcano facing the sea
overlooking Tidore and Halmahera Islands.

Setting: 16 mm, 1/80 sec, F5.6, ISO Raw 100, 1733 hrs
