TIRED, a photo from Jawa Tengah, Java

Photographer's Note

She is a seller in a traditional morning market at Ambarawa, a small town, not far from Jogjakarta.
She was just finished to work that day, and she looked so tired..
she stood by an old wall, in a small alley.. I asked her whether it's Ok with her if I took the photo, and she said Ok..

Hi Yoga,

Can't believe the beautiful light that you've caught here, almost coming from an elaborate set of an expensive Hollywood production, like natural but so perfectly controlled.

Not your most striking image in terms of flashy colours and local ritual, but I just love the earth tones and the "no fuss" portrait, direct and honest.

A text book example of good exposure management.
