Photographer's Note
A strange fly on the wall ... shot under incandescent light. The different shades are the result of light falling on the two walls at different angles.

Wahhhh, this one is absolutely excellent !
I like not only the graphism, but above all the softness of the image.
It's like if the fly was transparent, evanescent.
This image is more than just a photo of an insect, it's quite a painting.
Really excellent and made with a sensitive view, Avishek !

This looks like a dragonfly to me... Nice hues of orange and yellow you've got here! Even the grainy texture works quite wel in this picture... But I think the compostion can be better... To my feeling the dragonfly is too central. I would have cropped half of the yellow field on the left... But that is only my humble opinion you know...

incredible picture, as cool-ice already said it's more about painting than photography! excellent two colors, and this texture on the right is nice, too... To me would have be perfect with no noise, you know really "flat" colors... great job

Cool title :) The flat warm colors are very interesting and the fly is juxtaposed at just the correct angle between the two walls. Again, like the Technicolor Dreams pic of yours, this is an image where half-n-half composition works well.
This pic got me to start a Theme on clean graphic images - Graphisms. It's the launch pic :)

I think it's a good call to put the dragonfly in the center and split the orange and yellow equally. Love the colors. It's like a piece of contemporary arts.

Interesting image. Very well seen. The colors are great and I like how the rough geometrical wall is broken by the organic shape of the fly. Personaly I think I would crop half of the right side.

A great great graphism, and one of the best insect shots I have seen on TE. Your attitude is to use the insect IN your composition, and not using it AS your composition. This is a shot that I should remember and learn from, so I'll ad it to my faves.
Excellent, Avishek. Very well done.
