Photographer's Note
Sirsi in Karnataka is home to numerous beautiful waterfalls including some of the larger ones. Magod is about 17 kms from a small town called Yellapur [near Sirsi]. Here River Bedti surrounded by thick greenery cascades into a rocky ravine. The height of this water fall is 650 feet.
This picture has been taken during monsoons so you can see the brownish color of the water. Trek to the other side of the hill and one will get fantastic views of this water fall.
I appreciate your views on this picture.

Dear Pradeep,
this is a great way to bring nature to its lovers, keep us mesmerising with the series you are into. this is western ghats at its glorious best, from the fabled lands of lush forest and everpresent moisture.

Hello Pradeep, I like the POV, you have given us two shots with the river and then the waterfalls. The green trees give a good frame in the f/g.
I think that I might have cropped the sky, although I can appreciate that you might want to retain the low cloud[?]
It is hard to realise that the waterfall is as high as you say.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Pradeep,
very impressive image. You show us weel the strongness of the water. I like the way you compose it with the different diagonal lines of the water and mountain.

I really like the square crop. It works very well with your composition. I also like how you blurred the water. This waterfall and river are very interesting. I like how the river flows away from us while the waterfall faces us. Reminds me of an MC Escher drawing.

Hi Pradeep, beautiful shot of the fall. You did very well with the long exposure blurring the falling water. Well done.
Is is to the east from Yellap or between Yellap and the nuclear powerplant?
