INTROSPECTION, a photo from West Bengal, East

Photographer's Note

U have seen the previous post. During the course of the TAMASHA the monkey looks herslef through a broken miiror. It seems she is in introspection. Its better in wildlife than bondage.
There is a provarb in Bengali...BANYERA BANE SUNDAR SISHURA MATRI KRORE>>.>> means the wild animal suits more in jungle just like a baby at the lap of her mother.

Well this is actually a beautiful shot..and remaking this will be very tough or impossible...great composition and amazing title..kintu..I am giving a WS which not a corrective but a small figment of my creativity as all my WSs are..!!!

Perfect positioning and timing in this! The monkey seems to be holding this just for you, so you can the shot with his face reflected in it. I wonder what he is thinking? It's a good shot that can make the viewer think, and this one does. Excellent!

Hi Partha,

A very interesting shot and great point of view!! These are pictures one hopes for, but quite often never gets... The tropical dream, the introspection on his life in the mirror is the only touch of jungle this monkey will get. Great picture. One that makes you think, and I like that.

A funny moment which reminds that monkey and human are very similar ! Perhaps framing could leave more space to the right. Great shot !
