Kajal, this is, well impressive and I do mean that without any flattery. I haven't seen your work before, so went to have a quick peek at some other shots which are a nice body of work. Really strong message on this one. The focus on the weathered fingers and the dirt in the environment is a real contrast to the remnants of nail polish and the bracelets. Like a battle between beauty and the more harsh realities of life and age. It's not easy to communicate the struggle of the human condition with a still capture of a few inches of space, during a split second in time. But you did it exceptionally well, which is a rare thing. Congratulations.

Great Shot! Very nice composition, DOF and POV. I liked the strong lines of those hands and also the colours of bracelets and cloths.
Thanks for sharing!
Best regards.

Hi Kaj,
Sometimes hands and feet speak more than a "portrait" of the person, and here this seems to be the case. The tones, the colours, the details are amazing. Very nice, mysteriously moving work.

Hi Kaj... this is really great capture. I really love your choice of POV here. Even though I will that u may have pushed the PP a bit too far as the colors and light doesn't seem very natural. Would love to see the original. Nice to see all this great work and your bif 'leap'. Take care. Bala

Well this is about the geatest "dirt" picture I've eve seen, Kaj ;o) You've reached such a pont of serene confidence in your art that you can nfuse a close-up of a pair of hands in the dirt with a light that can only be described as transcendental. Anyone, like myself, who has said from the start "Watch that KAj, she's got something" can only feel pretty damn smug right now ;o)
Stunning,
Francis
(Just ran out of green dirt myself...)

beautiful colors and depth, very iconic to your theme title : we can clearly see the light in the dark, thanks to your processing.

i praised your progress before... this one is a perfect example of how your processing skills have evolved... having said that, still a bit too yellowish here for me, but i'm sure that was your conscious choice...
what about the notes?

Kaj,
Another wonderful addition to this marvellous series. Hands and feet have to be some of my favourite things to photograph. Great light and that PP of yours looks soooooooooo good here.
Cheers

Hi Kajal,
I am first time in your gallery and happy that I discovered your nice moments from India daily life.
This one is good focused and composed,
and as Sasa wrote somethimes hands can show and speak more than face. I like this shot.
Best regards,
Stanislav
