I am back in India...I had to wait a connecting flight for Goa and to spend some hours in town in the morning ... Of course I went on the road to catch some street scenes..I took many photos, and checking them now, I thought this one is postable, colorful and many different stories inside... the Indian crowd is so dense and colorful

A nice candid shot of everyday life which is full of life, bustle and colour. I can almost feel the heat and hear the noise. Great capture.

A busy scene like this needs a strong focal point, and you found it in the face of the little girl right there in the foreground. I think this shot would have worked even better shot from lower down, from the child's point of view.
There's a lot going on in this scene, and a lot of interesting interactions, but it's the little drama unfolding in the foreground that holds my attention. I don't know why, maybe it's the whites of her eyes that make her stand out.

Oh Laurent!! How many people, how many lives you captured here!!
Someone sitting on the ground and chatting, some other standing and chatting too, as well as children do!
And the eye is captured by the yellow dressed lady in the left, think I don't know what!!
A vivid India street scene, one of the best I suppose!

Hello, Laurent--
Nice work here. This is such a busy scene, but somehow, despite all the subplots and side interests and myriad stories that are all held in this frame, it seems to resolve very well. i think that what makes this picture work is the intense yellow of the near lady's sari. It feels like that intense burst of color against all the other neutral tones really provides a resting point among all the busy-ness, and her solitude contributes to that. The framing with the bus works well, also, leading back to the deep city behind.

This really is a busy street picture. People everywhere, standing, sitting down, chating, full bus going, a “tuk-tuk” type of vehicle, etc, etc, all that on the same shot. I believe India is exactly that. Your compo is very good as well as is the POV. Well done.

Good capture of busy street life Laurent. I like the framing provided by the bus, and there's a subtle lead in line provided by the gap in the crowd leading up to the two women in blue and green walking towards the camera.

Amazingly complex composition, Lauurent. The woman in the yellow sari makes a focal point of interest and the eye can wander along the front row and then to the back. It is complex but there is a sense of order there. Regards Kevin

Les "foules" c'est un exercice trиs difficile а pratiquer en photo et ici tu t'en sort magnifiquement bien avec une image trиs lisible grace а des sujets forts comme cette femme et ces trois enfants qui font un premier plan solide et interessant. Avec cette ouverture tu as choisi de donner de la profondeur а l'image pour le train et l'environnement, cela fait une belle photo trиs homogиne avec une scиne complиte а voir et а revoir.

This is a kind of picture I like to see, because it shows the real daily life and we can feel walking through the city. We can see the people and their costumes, the atmosphйre on the streets, and we just miss the smell of the air. Very nice, very real. TFS!

Une belle photo prise sur le vif c'est ce que l'on peut dire. Beaucoup de mouvement dans la photo et en regardant bien il n'y a pas une personne qui remarque le photographe. J'aime beaucoup les couleurs et la lumiиre de l'image c'est trиs agrйable. La circulation ne me semble pas facile !!! Beau et intйressant travail, merci Laurent.

A scene that typifies an Indian city. The BEST bus of course gives out that this is Mumbai...A packed scene, with so many people...looks like they have come to this city like millions others to realise their dreams. Where exactly is this shot taken..near Santacruz?

A most effective shot of the street scene here, with myriads of expressions on the faces well captured. The colour and dynamism in this scene is compelling. I like the way the bus nicely acts as a backdrop, anchoring the scene and also adding another great colour. The sharpness level is perfect. Very fine work.

Hi Laurent - there is such an atmosphere of noise & chaos in this photo, it really is incredible. there are so many conversations going on between the various people, from the 3 kids at the front to the women just behind them & to the right, then more & more people! My eyes keep going from the woman on the left to those 3 kids in the front centre of the frame. Fascinating image.

A good title for this daily life shot, Laurent. There's nothing that dominates the image but it does convey just how crowded Mumbai is, and there's a lot of interesting detail. I was in Mumbai last month, but on business unfortunately, and didn't get a chance to pull my camera out even once. So disappointing as it is such a vibrant (and sometime overpowering) city.
