Morning shot near the Howrah Bridge.
The last ghaat to the south has hundreds of pigeons. While people bathe in the "holy" water, despite the pollution on a chilly foggy winter morning, nothing deters the pigeons to fly around as a part of their regular activity.

Hi Arnab,
Well chosen composition and fine contrast between the lively flock of little pigeons and huge metal construction of the bridge.
Thanks to the bad weather, the tonal range is very close to B&W.

This one is straight out of Parineeta Arnab. It brings back all the romance and history one has learned about the old world Calcutta. The bridge is caught well as the symbol of human spirit and the pigeaons flying have been captured well. Good light show, great pov and dof,

Great way of representing my Calcutta. The composition tis strong enough with strong diagonal lines. The flying birds add dramatic effect as well as the misty atmosphere.

This falls in my favs list of all the pics of Howrah Bridge..Amazing clarity and the place of the bridge in the frame is mind blowing..!!Is it early in the moprning..?? as I can see very less people on the bridge..!!!

The birds erractic pattern is giving a different dimension the photograph
