Enjoying Nature, a photo from Tamil Nadu, South

Photographer's Note

This place is called akkamadam , a small coastal village located near Rameshwaram town. It was shot during evening time ,the sea was very calm without tides and in the back drop of crystal clear blue water i captured these young school kids playing and some of the boats taking rest after a long hours of fishing.

The place looks very similar to the coastal region of my town too, in Kollam. Good capture, dividing the frame into two halves with sky and water given it's relevance to it's maximum. The human presence has added the action too. Good capture. I just wish if the kids in the foreground right would have been some more inside of the frame. Thank you for sharing.

Hello Geetha,

I like the way you have shown this coastal region with a lovely blue sky occupying half the frame and the water a bit less . Nice wet sand where the children are playing bringing dynamism into the picture. The colorful boats generate additional interest. Nice bright image with beautiful colors and sharpness.

Beautiful simple compo, giving a very good impression of the beachscape, very well detailed in excellent clarity combined by all the necessary elements. Its well taken shot, really cought our attention and lots of life there in rich colors. Simple but works well photographically, Good observation and well taken. IMHO the horizontal line is too central, since there is less drama in the empty sky area, this is ideally be cropped partly - to apply rule of the thirds. Secondly the figs on the rh corner is not ideally positioned in the frame. hope my construction suggestions are of great help, Cheers Geetha!

Hi Geetha,
very nice shot from coast line with nice frame work...like the people activity at the beach & the rested boats in the deep blue sea...
but if you crop slight from top then it looks more better picture,actually it is a 50% composition which is not work in this image...
