ÔÎÒÎÃÐÀÔÈÈ

This is another photo from my Holi series of photos. Holi apart from being a festival of colors, is also a cultural fiesta with music and dance. Many Indian movies (Bollywood or other regional ones), have used Holi to include songs and dance sequences in the films.
Almost every region in India has its own Holi songs and dance moves. In the east mainly in Bengal (West Bengal), songs and dance composed by the great poet Rabindranath Tagore are performed to enhance the cultural beauty of the festival. In many parts of the state different programs are organized, where people perform music and dance.
This photograph was taken in one such program.
The little girl in focus was one of the tiniest participants and she was trying her best to match the sync with other girls and each time she missed a step she would put in an extra effort to match up and that extra effort came out in her adorable facial expressions. Hope you all like it.
