Photographer's Note
Jaldhaka is a small hamlet situated in the Kalimpong subdivision of West Bengal. At a height of about 1500 feet above sea level the place boasts of a hydroelectric project on the river Jaldkaka. This river also separates the place from the hills of Bhutan.
Jaldhaka is adjacent to the Neora Valley National Park and is an ideal get away for a couple of nights.

Wow! This almost looks like the kumaon himalayas... very green, even in may!

Hi Nabarun,
Nice to see Dooars through your lens. This has been a very typical view of the jhalong valley from the view point. The greenery looks very lush and attractive. What I like is the light here, the shaded and well lit part of the valley has created a nice contrast.A good composition overall.
Greetings,
Dhurjati

The green has really been captured nicely here. Loved the soft warm tones...the shade and the sunlight makes it great to look at.
Sagarneel.
