Heellloooo Mt Fellow Trekearthers,

First of all a very very happy new year to all my friends,,,I am posting this after a long long time..!!

This The great Mt kanchendzonga(8586 Mtrs) as viewed from Dzongri top(4200 Mtrs) This place falls in the middle of the much famous trek to Goecha la(4940 Mtrs) which is one of most popular trek in Sikkim.!!

To reach the top of Dzongri la one has to do a knee breaking climb of 2 kms starting as early as 0400 hrs.Th vision of first light falling of Kanchendzonga and its neighboring peaks is just mindblowing..

This is a series I am starting of this beautiful trail and I really hope U all like it.

Dear Indranil,
nice to see you back in TE. You have presented here a nice photograph of Dzongri. Nice composition. The coloured Prayer flags are really eye catching and creates nice contrast with the Mt. K. Beautiful sky as well.

Wish I also feel the nocturnal joy of Goechala someday.

vivid contrasting colours in the heart of wilderness Indranil with a good deal of sharpness of the roof of the earth. welldone,

Hello Indranil,

It has indeed been a long time since your last post. This is a great high-contrast shot (perhaps the contrast is a bit too high?). Also, its a pity the foreground is so blurred - a f/11 may have been better here...

Bit too high on the contrast I guess. But like how you have framed this composition. There are so many Mt K shots - that it often becomes difficult to present it differently and innovatively.
