Photographer's Note
I rarely dig my archives. Only a boring booze and camera free Saturday forced me to do it. Never did it back home.
.
I miss shooting portraits here in Texas. A strange inhibition circles me in the new country. I don't carry my camera out. I feel like starting all together from scratch in the land of opportunities.

Namaste Tushar. It will be interesting if and when the day comes, when you point the camera at a new World Face, particularly your first photo from Obamaland. Have you moved for good or are working there for a while? I do like your archive shot-he looks relaxed and as bright (and probably as proud) as a peacock. The smoke adds an aura to his somewhat enigmatic gaze. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Tushar
Good to see you back here.
Nice portrait, well framed, in a zen mood with the cigarette smoke coming out of his mouth. The colored parts are enhancing the grey and white hues of the picture.
Now you have a new challenge to take pictures of the USA.
Greetings

Hello Tushar,
It's nice to see one of your nowadays rare photos. This is a remarkable portrait, looking almost unreal. What a very odd character. The light and colours are superb.
It's interesting to hear you have moved to Texas. I wish you every success in your new job.
Best regards,
Gert

This is a master piece, Tushar kanti mandal ji.
First I thought that the man is having a beard in white..............and then i felt that its something more than a beard...............smoke........and this is mesmerizing.
Your hiding of the cigarette in his hands is one the decisive moments.............
What a focus.....
what a clarity......
To me this is pinnacle of Photography...........and where is Sabyasachi the great Sachin Tedulakar of photography from Kolkatta?
Best Regards from homeland,
Rajeev

Hello Tushar - A fine portrait with a classic 3/4 face looking into the distance and out of the frame. This position gives the man a kind of aloof look which the casual and disinterested way he is smoking adds to. Excellent sharp detail and a lovely colour palette. Warm regards Rosemary
PS I hope you find your feet in your new home and overcome you insecurities in getting out and about with your camera.
