Autant l'avoir а sa porte !

In India, and especially in Rajasthan, one frequently see houses decorated with various drawings
Most of the time, but not here, this is done to give notice of a wedding and one then see the elephant god Ganesh, symbol of the Remover of Obstacles
Better have him at one's door !

I remember such paintings in other parts of India, specially in Udaipur and a bit different, in Shekhawati. They are here quite amusing.Interesting scene from varanasi, street life..

A splendid daily life scene from the subcontinent with scenes that resemble southern Nepal around Janakpur. The bright orange sari contrasts well against the cyan tinted door. Impeccable sharpness & a nice catch of amiable mood & smiles. Tfs!
