lovely photo Sohrab, nice compo but the right side is a bit empty - it would be better if the walking guy was closer. but this cow rocks. and what the hell was she or he doing there, the slot seems to be thinner than the head with horns..

hello you.. this one works a bit less than your others in the serie. we can still see your touch in it, but I am not sure about it..

hehe
funny photo.
I like B&W, I like composition, I like "face" of that cow and I like posture on background.
well done

Maciej is right..he would have been batter if closer. If it were mine, i would have not resisted to sharpen it..anyway, it is great..funny too.

Another in the cow series, and I think this is the best yet. The OoF background providing the all important contextual setting for the very amusing pose of the subject.

Very, very nice! What a great story you've been telling us with these last photographs you've been posting. Seems you've found your way also as far as films are concerned. My personal opinuion is that you're getting awsome range of greys yout the TRIX. Really fine composition, with an aesthetic and artistic view on the subject. YOu're a gifted photographer, most surely one of the best posting right now on TE. I would love to see your photographs on paper. Great work.

Agreed with Claude : first class idea nice an dsurprising, a bit below for the execution.
Perhaps too unbalanced, the characters are located too close from the edges, glaring light is also bothering, the print should have softened the light to make it really work. (even though this would match the best effort of many other photogs.)
Anyway, it will be hard for yourself to compete with the level of what you uploaded recently... keep on surprizing us, that's good...

HaHaHa...very nice shot, actually excellent, the cow is telling the story by it self.

This cow genuinely seems to be having a conversation with you.
I like this shot but agree: of course it is technically excellent and it's also quite funny, but it doesn't have the impact of your others, probably because of the lack of stuff happening on the right (as others have said). There seems to be a wide stretch of the picture where nothing much is going on.
But you're still my fave in b&w.
I wish there was a 1 1/2 point smiley, I'd give you that. Instead, I'm going to round up...

haha, this grinning cow rocks :). about right side - maybe darkening it a little could help? for me it's not too empty but slightly too bright, it draws attention from the cow unnecessary

The archetypal Benaras! You have captured the essence of this magical place.

this shot would not be the same without the cow's head... But you are sohrab and you caught it right! bravo!!
your style is really getting acutely professional my friend! one day i 'll be proud to say that the new indian steve Mc Curry bought me a sandwich or two...;-))

Sohrab, this shot is fantastic. I love the pose of the cow, almost talking to you :) I like the perspective you chose with the man in the background and walking into the scene.
It's good too the bit overexposure in the background, so to balance the more dark foreground.
Nice work!

Nice shot, looks very cool. Though i feel the cow is too much on the side, just a little on the right would have been better according to me. Great one though.

The category you chose was "decisive moment". What was being decided here? We have a narcisistic cow smiling for you, and a guy walking down 30m of street. Its a sweet shot, but far from the pictures that you normally post.

nice shot Sofrab(as usual!), I like the contrast between the cow and the man walking at the end of the street, funny!amitiées Myriam
