Superb perspective on this misty morning with excellent layers of shades in a dreamlike atmosphere. The simplicity & the minimal colour palette make a well spotted and an amazing image. The canoe is an attractive eye catching subject, a stark contrast from its surrounding in the mids of lovely glimpses of soft light which does convey a mood of peace and tranquility. Simply delightful, my compliments

hi patrick,
your title for this picture is so appropriate. the image is incredibly tranquil with the subtle changes in colour tones. the little boat is placed perfectly in the frame and provides an excellent focal point. it truely is a serene image.

On est habituйs а voir de la couleur dans tes images et celle-ci est donc une exception. Mais ces tons trиs clairs, la brume qui enveloppe le lac, les silhouettes subtiles des montagnes au fond et cette embarcation qui attire le regard crйent une atmosphиre trиs douce. J'aime beaucoup !

Si il y a une photo que je dois commenter aujourd'hui, c'est celle ci. Je ne sais pas pourquoi mais mкme si elle n'йtait pas signйe je saurais qui en est l'auteur. Cette tonalitй globale, cette douceur sont, а mon point de vue, ta marque de fabrique. C'est superbe.

Tu as eu une idйe magnifique pour cette image minimaliste!
On peut voir bien tous les dйtails mais ils sont partiellement couvrйs par la brume matinale et cela est tout а fait spйcial et beau!

Hi Patrick,
Minimalism at its best. There is really a special kind of softness and feeling to the light here which adds to the extreme serene feeling together with the calm water. I like too that we can just make out a faint glimmer of the mountains in the background.

AS you probably realise I like minimalistic pictures and space. This is very subtle and beautiful. I like the hint of the mountain in the BG. The boat, which is well defined, is an important element and prevents the picture looking washed out. A lovely time of day - very serene.

The high key effect works out very well in this scene. The tranquil, calm and ambient mood is just perfect. Superb minimalism, clearly reflected upon those reflections. As always, this one is stunning and definitely beautiful!

la faible lumiиre du petit matin, combinйe avec la brume, elles crйent une image pleine de sйrйnitй et de paix que tu as captйe avec une bonne technique et au moyen d'un cadrage trиs efficace.
La douceur des tons et la gamme de gris ils nous offrent une atmosphиre fantastique, trиs esthйtique, dans laquelle les barques se dйtachent sur le lac avec un fort contraste graphique.
C'est une composition minimaliste rйellement belle. Bravo!
