Photographer's Note
Changla Pass (el. 5270 m./17,300 ft.) is a high mountain pass in India.
Changla Pass is on the route to Pangong Tso Lake from Leh. The road after Changla Pass is extreme steep, leading to the small town of Tangtse. The Pass has a temple dedicated to Changla Baba (Sadhu or a religious man) after whome the pass has been named.
This pass is also a gateway for CHANGTANG Pleatu situated in himalayas. Nomadic tribes that can be found here are known as CHANGPAS.
