Like Rob I wonder if they will clear up the mess on the ground before they leave in the evening. I have a feeling the organic junk will be eaten by cows and the newspapers maybe by goats. It is such a typical Indian street view that it almost makes my heart ache of nostalgia. I like that you included such a long view of the street so we can also see the scooters, pedestrians and simple buildings. As always you show us a very sharp photo with pleasant, crisp colours.

A street scene which looks "normal" in India standards, Miguel, for western-eyes the peeled apple thrown to the ground...
But, I look beyond, and there is a nice street action going on there.

Hello Miguel,
Good capture of these fruit vendors in the street.
Their stalls are right next to the lane for traffic although apparently there are more pedestrians.
At the same time we see how the facades of the buildings were all painted in a different colour.

I ever found vendors of apples and bananas in india, rarely other fruits. nice details of the architecture and the personages lost in this chaos typical of the area.

The presence of the persons is animating the scene. The point of view is showing the fruit merchant getting the apples ready for sale and a customer waiting to buy some. It is clear and precise. Have a nice day.

very interesting daily life photo.
The cart with green fruit is the main theme but it is interesting to have a look around. The area seems quite damaged. There are so many cables in the air. The damaged houses make the picture very photogenic of course.

Missed this one. A superb street market view of the apple cart. I wonder where they are grown? Probably in the Himalayan foothills as it is far too hot in and around Delhi. Good sharpness and perspective. Tfs!
