the sadhoo... i took it on the indian festival..known as "Ganga Sagar mela"...
its a fair where some people sacrifice there normal daily life... these peoples are normaly known as Sadhoo(saint)..

Hi Sayan,
This is a very cool image. To mel living in Ireland here on the fringes of Europe. Th concept of the Sadhoo has always been a very exotic thing, and a thing so evocative of faraway places and distant culture. Your image captures that perfectly for me, a strange scene and one which really captures a special spirit of this man. Filling the frame with his image was a very good idea as it makes us focus on his features and white face paint. Fascinating shot, very well done. I really look forward to seeing more of your work.
