Photographer's Note

It was captured at the morning of Shravana at the Shiva temple of Byaspur, which is 7 to 8 km from Berhampore.
Some information about Nandi (The Bull): Nandi is the
bull which Shiva rides and the
gate keeper of Shiva and
Parvati in Hindu mythology.
Temples venerating Shiva and
Parvati display stone images of a
seated Nandi, generally facing
the main shrine. There are also a
number of temples dedicated
solely to Nandi in India.

in this frame you can see one of these devotees whispering her wishes to the ear of Nandi who is also the main follower of Lord Shiva. The custom is Nandi will convey the message of that related devotee, to Lord Shiva. In this frame you can see such a story with the heavy atmosphere of the smoke created by 'dhupkathi' (the stick which offers smoke and fragrance while burning). I just like this frame though I know there is a problem with focusing. Here I wish to show you another picture of this 'Monday Morning Of Shravana'. I think I can present the atmosphere. Hope you'll like the effort tried.
