Vardzia is a cave monastery site in southern Georgia. The main period of construction was the second half of the twelfth century. The caves stretch along the cliff for some five hundred metres and in up to nineteen tiers.rnrnMake sure to book whole day for the trip. We arrived in the morning and missed the last shuttle back to the town, so we had to hitchhike (which is anyway more fun and culture-learning).

Nice view,beautiful valley, I like the green colors and the soft brightness, perfect sharpness, very interesting composition with the ruins on the Fg on the right side, tfs.
