Photographer's Note

After walking through the Abanotubani neighborhood and passing through the many sulfur public bathhouses, we came across a small bridge with hundreds of love locks attached to its bars, which is the one you see in the photo. A little further down, at the end of the road, is the "Dzveli Tbilisi Sulfur Waterfall".

The waters of the Tsavkisistskali River fell through the gorge 22 meters above, creating a picturesque and romantic place. No wonder brides come here for photo shoots on their wedding days!

Buskers are often seen around, creating a happy and lively atmosphere. The whole area has been recently renovated attracting locals and tourists visiting Tbilisi.

Despuйs de pasear por el barrio de Abanotubani y pasar por las numerosas casas de baсos pъblicos de azufre, nos encontramos con un pequeсo puente con cientos de candados de amor unidos a sus barras, que es el que veis en la foto. Un poco mбs abajo, al final de la carretera, se encuentra la "Cascada de azufre Dzveli Tbilisi".

Las aguas del rнo Tsavkisistskali cayeron a travйs del desfiladero 22 mts arriba, creando un lugar pintoresco y romбntico. ЎNo es de extraсar, las novias vienen aquн para sesiones de fotos en los dнas de su boda!

Los mъsicos callejeros se ven a menudo alrededor, creando un ambiente alegre y animado. ЎToda la zona ha sido renovada recientemente atrayendo a lugareсos y turistas que visitan Tbilisi.

Hello Luis,
I can't say that I remember exactly these houses, but the location and their style generally brings me back nice memories of my days in Tbilisi. This is a charming area full of fascinating houses like those seen here. They are so colourful and the small bridge makes a perfect complement. This photo is taken from a very good angle and makes the best of the light and the colours.

Hi Luis,i remember well this part of Tbilisi, the old houses, finally well restored, on the top of gorge when the small river pass,not an easy choice of perspective,your is absolutely perfect, to show in the same view the bridge and the houses,top quality of sharpness too. Quite charming houses hanging over the cliffs. The wooden balconies remind me slightly the wooden balconies on Canary Islands. Great perspective here with well captured bridge at the lower level and the houses aligned diagonally. Fantastic colors. Extraordinary place, so photogenic and interesting.

Hello Luis,
Is this the Tbilisi-version of the houses in Cuenca?
The facades and the balconies look wonderful.
Excellent capture with the small bridge at the bottom.
I don't remember any street musicians from my visit in 2013.

Hola Luis,

These houses, overhanging the steep drop, look as if they are sentinels, peering out to search for danger!
Although there is a similarity in their shape, they are very individual in their facades.
As always, you have achieved a fine composition, the buildings following a near diagonal, the bridge completing the lower r/h corner.
The exposure is first rate, clear and well saturated.

Strange land formation and the imposing colourful houses look ready to topple over! The architectural detail is nicely defined with great depth of field and much more to interest the eye.. It's perfectly framed this way and good description to go with this. Excellent capture

You chose a nice angle with a look through under the arch of the bridge.

Great scene from Georgia, a destination that was on our map just before the c*** thing happened and we were no longer allowed to travel (far). The view reminds me of the 'casas colgadas' in Cuence, though obviously they are different.
