I love those "chairs", i thought there are just small vases in the thumbnail. I like the triangle you created between the three chair. Maybe there is too much area of marble, which looks to plain. I think I'd try to get closer and catch this triangle with the nice artwork on the wall. Anyway, a very interesting and nice shot, Andrew.

I really like the colors in this one. The placement of the three vases is also very good, and they really stand out against the duller background. Well done!

Good composition, nice angle. The seats are outstanding against the grey background, and the pic is geometrically very well balanced. Beautiful details, Andrew.

I thought you had desaturated too! They are very ornate seats, and i like the stone carving in the background, are very calm environment i'm sure. Great shot.

Believe it or not I have never been into a taoist temple... From the thumnail, i thought tey were the little russian dolls.. Those are seats???Nice; I guess they are made out of stone, then decorated?
Nice way to show it to us..

Really nice light, good colours and great DOF here. These ceramic stools have a great range of colours and themes, and here they go very nicely with the granite.

The play of light and shadow, the contrasting colours, material and surface of the chairs to the round around, the perspective, the low angle - a very good one, Adrew.

Excellent close-up, Andrew, and an interesting color setting - at first I thought you had desaturated the surroundings of the "chairs". Very intricate detail on the marble wall and the furniture. This looks like a scene that makes a good shot from various different angles, you surely found one that is working well.

I like the contrast between the "stone stools" ( is it correct in english ? ) with their beautiful colors and the neutral background.
Very well done !

It is so sharp and clear! I wonder when I will reach that quality of yours - my hands seems to have their own mind and can't stay so steady while shooting..:-) The picture is beautifully composed, the colours are just magnificent and the textures and light reflections make it completed! Very well seen and captured!

The grey stone seams almost like in B&W and gives an excellent background for those chairs - Very well spotted and captured Andrew.

Strange seats in Hong Kong but you framed them very well and colors are very nice. I like very much the small light of the sun. Well done, Andrew!

Great composition and very striking contrast between the colorful "chairs" and the grey surrounding. The details of the "chair" (I still don't know how to call it...) on the right side is great

Hi Andrew,
Nice one. You are to be congratulated on composing a perfectly illuminated still life containing three primary objects of interest. With the carved stonework, the desaturated background adds interest to the whole scene.
Well done,
Regards,
Vic, Singapore.
