Les riziиres font penser а ces bijoux en йmail cloisonnй. Ici l'eau tient la place de l'йmail et les buttes de terre sont bien йclairйes pour leur donner encore plus de relief. Belle photo !

Like a smiling face of Yuanyang, Yuval!

When someone said that you and I were lucky to be able to capture some shots of Yuanyang, I hesitate to believe...

A friend of mine — Nhiem Hoang — made 2 attempts to photograph Yuanyang and he failed both. Last year, he arrived and concluded that in June rice has been high enough to cover the edges of paddies with a flat green like pasture. This morning he emailed me saying that he spent a whole week in Lao Cai (197 km SE) waiting for the endless winter monsoon to be cleared up but had to give up.

I wish I can come back to this location in September to watch farmers harvesting their crops... For now, I am enjoying your successful photo.
