Photographer's Note

This is a view of the second highest building in Hong Kong, named Two International Finance Centre. It was inaugurated in 2003 and it is 416 meters high. In foreground we can see a typical tram and the colonial building of the Court of Final Appeal.

Jorge, the colonial building contrasts with the modern and tall skyscraper in the bg. Hong Kong is a mix of different architectural styles. The typical tramway adds vivid colors to the mainly grey scene. It has a deck. Good sharpness, excellent pov, regards.

Hi Jorge,
Good combination of modern and traditional. The big skyscraper, and that grey colonial era building. The tram is probably rather aged too. But advertising livery is new and very colourful. On this view you create an illusion of Hong Kong not being at all crowded.

Hello Jorge,
The trams looked the same in 1986, and the colonial building looked old already then, but the elegant skyscraper is a recent addition to the many spectacular modern buildings that impressed on me 33 years ago. You found a very good place for this photo and possibly waited patiently for the colourful tram to be in the right place. It's a very nice combination of different iconic Hong Kong features.

Hi Jorge,

It's fun to sit in the top front of these buses to and from Stanley, eg. The super tall skyscraper dominates this scene. Good sharpness and framing. Tfs!

Everyone has his opinion, but the old architecture has a big value, against the modern skyscrapers.
You play nice with light and shadows.
A lovely panorama view too.
Wonderful soft contrast picture.

Bom dia Jorge,

Eu gostei tanto do bonde, bem colorido, nunca tinha visto bonde de dois andares, bem curioso.

O contraste entre esse prйdio de estilo antigo na frente e o prйdio gigantesco atrбs gerou um visual bem bonito. Fiz um workshop melhorando as cores. Veja o que acha.

I really like the contrast between the colonial building and the tall and slim modern tower behind it. Very well inclusion of the bus as well, it adds extra colour to the view.

Muy buena esta composicion, con el gran contraste entre el altisimo rascacielos muy moderno y el edificio del primer plano en estilo colonial, el autobus de dos pisos es un buen bonus y pone una nota de color en el dia gris.
Buena gestion de la luminosidad y una magnнfica nitidez.

The tram is an eye-catcher. The point of view is showing the details of the highrise buildings and of the tramwat. I visited Hong Kong in April 1973. Have a nice day.

Hello Jorge, three very interesting buildings, with completely different styles.
One has to marvel at the skill of the builders who build these incredibly tall towers.
The colonial building in the foreground is in stark contrast in style. The tram adds colour and an alternative focal point to your picture.
