The Great Wall is quite ordinary subject for image but the beautiful autumn(?) colors makes your image extraordinary. So, this is very nice shot even though I find the black blocks on the sides very disturbing...

This is a nice shot of something that has been photographed many a times. I myself have a few shots of the Great Wall, but they just don't make the original justice. They're just nice to look at. This is my feeling here. I've been to the Great Wall so I know how it looks in real life. So this shot is nice, just nice, and not amazing. I agree that it needs sharpening and the colors need a boost as well...you've got some wonderful tones here and it would be nice to have them jump out of the photo. But what really distracts me here, and Olli has already pointed this out, is the border. It bothers me. I feel as if it's squeezing the image, taking all the life out of it. Without the border it would have been much nicer. But what I do like is the perspective...shows the wall as far as the eye can see.

The autumn folliage and the depth created by the humidity makes this shot works. The black border is distracting though. Great shot.

This shot has a lot of potential. The composition is great but the tones are all washed out and the black border is yuk in my opinion. I would have done a workshop to show you how you could have done some easy improvement to a place of wonder, but I note you have that turned off, pity.
