Photographer's Note

A pagoda in the forecourt area of the Confucian Temple entrance at left. It is used as an information centre for tourists. The Qinhuai River and Panchi wharf are behind me here. An unusual blue sky too for a big Chinese city! Normally the skies are white and hazy. I have gone with the / | \ pattern here with the wide angled lens leaving the far left and far right to fall where they will. The central vertical line is perpendicular. At right is an orange money tree with temple money for offerings to Confucious. Not for circulation!
