Photographer's Note
This, of course, is Angkor Wat. At the time we visited, the conditions for photography were not very good: middle of the day, strong intense sunlight, high humidity, and almost no clouds. Those kind of conditions don't produce very good shots, but when you are halfway around the world, you have to deal with what you have. The shot, converted to sepia, came out pretty good I think, given the conditions.
Modifications made in CS2:
Adjusted levels and curves to bring out details
Adjusted contrast a bit for details
Desaturated
Applied sepia filter
Resized to 1500 pix horizontal
Applied Luko's USM
Resized to 800 pix horizontal for TrekEarth
Sharpened a bit more
And that's it.
