Photographer's Note
.
More than 30 years after losing my job as a journalist, I still fail to get rid of the love in people photography. Review my entire album, you would see that I rarely shot landscape, and if I even had the courage to try one, it is a failure.
This is one of the cases. I took this 2 years ago when the first digital camera landed to my hands in a morning when the sun refused to rise. Next month, I will repeat the recent trip, trying to rework what I have done incorrectly. For that, it is time to confess, and to post this poor picture asking for your frank critiques.
Thanks.
Thanh

Hi Thanh, and thanks for posting this, and your honest note. The overall photo is good. But the feeling that this is a failure came from the fact that there are too many good photos of Angkor. If you show this photo to those who never saw Angkor, they would say this is awesome.
Some thoughts about the photo. I guess the sharpness of the photo is the most important thing given that you show from a great angle. And also the lighting. This is a little dark. But, dark is okay if your background light is significant (great sunrise...colorful or with great pattern of cloud). And the left side is a little bit overexposed.
Sothy
