They get up early in the morning. Sometimes, they have breakfast and sometimes not. Its not their major need then. They take their nylon sacks and start roaming whole city and raid the dustbins and ransack for 'useful things' that are thrown away by the people.

They have to start collecting things from the garbage in early in the morning as some hundreds of children scavenge. All are looking for things that are in 'best' quality and that can be sold at 'high' price. One seems to be lucky who can get
a thing in good condition. Its a 'survival game' for them that starts everyday in the morning.
