Hi everyone,

I just joined this group today. One of my friend informed me about you. I am not so good at photography. But i am trying to learn. I hope you will help me.

This photo was taken in Afghanistan. The old man was preparing some refreshment for us.

Зocuğun anlamlı birazda зekingen bakışı etkileyici.
Yalnız renkler biraz daha canlı olsa idi daha da iyi olur du kanısındayım.

Very difficult situation you had to deal with for this photo. Very dark room with that bright light coming from the window. Situation of contrast not always easy for our cameras! I think you did pretty good. I don't know if it was intended, but it is good that the young man is just in front of the window, and that for two reasons. First, the light that fall on his cloths is quite sublime, and second, it reduce the light on the floor.
I might have been tempted to crop a little, as to bring closer to us the scene that really count (I've made a workshop to show you what I mean).
We don't see that often the indoor of a home in Afghanistan. That's great that you give us that chance.

I really like this. In spite of the difficult light you did a good work, it's not very usually to see these houses inside.A great example of hospitality, no doubt about that.I like all the details inside. I'm waiting for the next ones, ok?

Welcome to TE Mete. You will like it here. This is a good photo. Could be better but pretty good nevertheles. My advice would be to participate actively in the discussions, and forums and communicate with others through critiques/comments. I have learned a lot here and continue to expand my horizon everyday.

Incredibly important photo, right here on TE.
There are not many photographs from INTERIORS of such places alike Afghanistan. The country is politically 'hot' these days and the more we know the better.
Your picture has great 'painting' qualities and that very special atmosphere of something out of standard.
It lacks some technical qualities though, but - as you can see in the WS - our incomparable Claire took care of some of them (with great results - I may add !).
Eye catching work…Unique post.

Hi Mete and welcome on TE. Realy beautiful photo you've posted here. Wonderfuly painted with light. Makes me think of great european master-painters of 19th century. And I think your photo is talking a lot of the country and it's people. Moving scene and great shot. Greetings T.

TE'ye hoşgeldiniz. Bence fotoğrafзılıkta цğrenmenin sonu yok. Ve siz de buradan зok fazla şey цğrenebilirsiniz. Ben de yeni katıldım ve gerзekten зok faydasını gцrьyorum. Fotoğrafınızda zor ışık koşullarında gьzel bir kare oluşturmuşsunuz. Цzellikle ьst kısımda biraz fazla boşluk var. Workshop da kesilmiş hali daha gьzel farkındaysanız. İlk fotoğraf iзin gayet başarılı. Ellerinize sağlık.

which has been my school too...I am pretty sure it sounds weird to most newcomers as it is much more crowded now , but still I hope you will it here as much as I do...
very good first post, and as Polonasie wrote; important as well..I am sure quality will improve, which for me is not the most important thing..

IsIk ve yansittiginiz atmosfer cok gьzel... Ne kadar fakir olsalar da gцnlь zengin Afgan halkini kusursuz yansitan bir kompozisyon olmus... Renkler arasindaki kontrast ve ayrintilar da harika...

Зok gizemli buldum bu fotoğrafınızı. Pencereden vuran ışığın sadece objeleri aydınlatması зok iyi olmuş. Цzellikle ayakta duran зocuğun yьzьndeki ifade fotoğrafı konuşturuyor sanki. Bir de farkında mısınız? Odada herşey simetrik; karşılıklı duran 2 soba, yanyana duran 2 termos ve 2 insan, hatta 2 de pencere var ama biri niş gцrevinde sanırım:)
