Thinking about...., a photo from Kasese, Western

This kid lived close to our place in the farmers village Karusandara in Uganda. He liked to come and play around for the whole day; he was always very active. At this moment he suddenly made up his mind and sat for a moment to think about...

The picture is a scan of a slide. I find it hard to get good colours from the scans and I tried the B&W-version. I was suprised about the effect and I found the B&W version better than the coloured one.

Hi,
This is very effective. The eyes are beautiful and the picture conveys a thoughtful little boy staring into the distance. B/W does indeed work well here.
