Photographer's Note
Well, it's been sometime since I last posted here on TrekEarth. I figured having spent two days shooting, I'd better post at least one shot.
I rented a Canon 300mm f/2.8 Prime Lens, in conjunction with my 2x extender it enabled to get as close as I to pretty much anything I wanted to. In this case it was my favorite White Tigers. I hadn't been up to the zoo since last years unfortunate events which saw an unfortunate soul climb into the enclosure with them.
One of MANY shots I took over the weekend... I hope you like it.

Hello Daniel. I have to say congratulations on this capture. Now I am wondering if this is a male or female tiger? Two deciding factors are the blue eyes and the goatee. Both are very attractive features. A wonderful addition to your White Tiger series. Great photo Dan!

Hi Dan,
Nice to see a post form you after a long while. Wow, the combination of a long lens and a 2x tele is almost scary! Good details and adequate sharpness to render a pleasing image. TFS. Gerald

Hi Dan
Welcome back. Great detail in the tiger's face. The nose and eyes are both sharp. Good choice of aperture.
