Magpie and the Jet Plane, a photo from Ankara, Central Anatolia

Photographer's Note

I took this shot in Harikalar Diyarı (literally Wonderland). This open recreation area is one of the largest in Europe. I'll upload some more shoots from this area soon.

The magpie is watching the jet plane. I don't know what she is thinking at the moment but I do believe that she doesn't envy.

Very nice seen of you, the magpie that look to the white shafts of light of the plane.
Also a very nice contrast picture between the dark and white roof, together the blue sky
Colors and sharpness give a wonderful image.
Composition and captured is very well done.

this is a lovely minimal photo, very well composed, superbly lit and sharp and with a story. I like it very much, the mugpie resting and watching the plane a moment before it leaves the cadre. The use of light is masterful enhancing the simplicity and effectiveness of the picture.

The magpie really seems to look at the jet. It probably thinks - "I'm allready on top of things, what sould I wish more ? " The framing is spot on and enables us to enjoy your picture as a fab graphism too - the crispnes and line & textural play see to that. Fascinating and original storytelling here!

a minimalist, very well structured composition, in which you have looked for this scene of the magpie on the top of the roof, which seems to look at the plane in the sky, creating a very funny image.
I like the graphical effect, the light and the quality of the colors of the photo.
It's a beautiful work.
