Photographer's Note
Steamboat Falls drops 20 feet in a wide horsetail pattern. Accessed by Highway 138, from Roseburg drive east 38.5 miles, turn right onto Road # 3810. After half a mile enter the campground and park, the overlook is 50 feet away.
No steamboats operated here or in the watershed - the Umpqua River.

Hi Ray,
I like this place very much.
The composition and colours are wonderful on your pic. The golden colours of the rocks are stunning too.
Best wishes

Hello Ray,
Love the flowing water effect that you achieved with a slow shutter speed. An amazing cascade of water with very good light falling on it. Very well photographed.
Kind Regards, Ann

Ciao UmpquaRay
oooh I love these falls and the effect a slower shutter has had on them. Beautiful bright colours and excellent light management. The power of the water is truly awe-inspiring
Cheers and happy Sunday
