Hello Clodo,

so - here are two of the points you have fished for!
Is there a story behind the name of the street/behind the drawing?
Anyway, I like the different textures, the different colors on the wall, the small shop at the corner - and in comtrast. the perfectly yellow building on the right side.

This is one of those very well seen street scenes that make an imaginative and clever composition. The art on the wall is wonderfully juxtaposed to the couple outside the gift Shop. I like the street sign.

Vue que je suis en train de lire "Le cimitiиre de Prague" (Umberto Eco) oщ la rue de chat qui pкche est йvoquйe j'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir а regarder ta photo (mкme si le livre йvoque la rue telle qu'elle etait а la fin du XIXиme siиcle)

A nice kind of dual street scene, Claude, with the shoppers at right and the mural at left. The colors balance each other well - and it appears that that might even have been the intention of the artist, as we see yellow graffiti stretching from the awning toward the left and an instance of red graffiti at right, linking them. Certainly a well suited street name for the title as well, and a nice inspiration for this artist. Thanks!

en effet ...c'est tres mort ici....ils sont tous partis sur NPL (apres aminus...) mais а nous de redonner du dynamisme? suis pas tres presente tout de meme...faute de temps et de projets...
super sympa ce bonhomme qui protege de la pluie ce chat qui peche est-ce Bertrand?? ;-)

Joli graff qui illustre bien cette plaque de rue au nom amusant. A Lille aussi, on a la rue des chats bossus. En chti, on dit des "cats bochus", mais c'est une dйformation du mot "caboches" qui dйsignait les crвnes d'animaux dйpecйs qui sйchaient autrefois devant les boutiques des tanneurs йtablis dans le quartier. Quant а ton impression sur le site, elle est bien rйelle, et le manque de commentaires sйrieux et objectifs va de pair avec le peu de photos prйsentant un vйritable intйrкt. Sans compter le nombre de membres n'ayant pas la courtoisie de rйpondre aux critiques donnйes, ne serait-ce que par un petit mot gentil. Aprиs, il ne faut pas s'йtonner...

Hello Claude,

Ah, ha! Well, you should have told us all that this is quite a remarkable street - the narrowest street in Paris! Then, perhaps, your "fishing" for attention and points might have been better rewarded!

But this is an excellent shot, well composed and with lots of interest - from the fine wall painting with "le chat qui pкche" to the colourful gift shop with the two tourists admiring the goods for sale there.

Well seen and well taken with good light, perfect exposure and excellent detail and sharpness.

Visiblement le nom de la rue a inspirй Bertrand qui n'a pas pu s'empкcher de taguer le mur а l'abri de son ombrelle rouge -)La qualitй des autres tags laisse plus а dйsirer!

C'est trиs vivant, l'ombrelle rouge. Le petit chat est aussi bien mignon. Tu as raison, le site a perdu beaucoup de son dynamisme.

L'ambiance est subtilement capturer, mкme tres bien transmise.
Le rouge et jaune donne du pep a la composition. Un excellent point de vue.

fantastic observation, I am not sure, if the cat is living or also painted? Funny name of the street. The hanging clothes fit well to the colourful wall. I like this shot very much.
Indeed, TE is slowiiing down. Less and less photos and comments. Indeed, it is a pity that our friends are scattered on other sites. Difficult to look at all of them.

I have to admit, I've been absent for a while, and have also joined a rival site (NewPhotoLand). But I have no plans to quit TE just yet, and when I see your work still being posted day after day, I realise you need and deserve support! This isn't your most recent, but I love its quirkiness and informality. Genuinely witty graffiti is hard to find, but this is the business. By 123Klan or Banksy perchance?
