Photographer's Note

celebrating my 500th upload photo with this snapshot from the sunset of Oia-Santorini island.
A bit after the sunset where the hordes of tourists left from the place,i was there, seeing these young girls on the ruins of the old castle of Oia,to looks like to dance on it,as to say farewell to the hidden sun,until the next day, where a cycle of the life will start again.

A magnificent celebration photo, with this capture after the sunset, in which you offer us a playful very interesting scene, with the girls dancing on the ruins of the castle in Oia.
Their silhouettes on the sky with a few beautiful purple hues play a precious graphical role in the composition, and add a lot of vitality and dynamism to the image.

These girls must have anticipated this milestone, the mood is so festive :-) A beautiful cinematic low light capture with elegant action and warm tones and a very apt way to celebrate your 500th post - congratulations !!

By the way: I was four days on Santorini last June and we had to time our visits to sites like Oia very carefully. The trick was to evade the large tourists groups disgorged by the cruise ships.

Most importantly your gallery is not only so rich in number but also of highest quality.
This is a real masterpiece here. Colors of the sky are amazing, they change very subtly in a gradient from dark pink to bright orange.
Fantastic scene on top of the hill with the ladies dancing and enjoying the time together. But also there are people everywhere who seem to relax and enjoy.
