Hamburg Reflections
Before I move on to the next city we visited last summer, let’s go back to Hamburg, because here’s a photo I noticed I had missed earlier. It shows the reflections in a glass façade along Glockengießerwall, opposite Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), whose tower is reflected in the glass. Opened in 1906, it is the busiest railway station in Germany and the second-busiest in Europe.

Hej Lars,
Gert

Hello Lars!
Excellent detour before you move further. The reflection of an old building on a glass surface are always winner, but the red light is the cherry on the ice in this case.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hi Lars,
The red arrow is an eye-catcher. The point of view is showing the details of the reflections on the windows. It is clear and precise. Have a nice day.

Lars, excellent observation of the city. That imposant tower is reflected on a glass facade. It creates a distortion. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hi Lars.
This is indeed a beautiful reflection, the tall tower of the Hauptbahnhof shines in the glossy building in style. I was visiting the free city on several occasions many years ago, but usually I traveled from/to Altona Rail Station. TFS!!!

Hi Lars
A great find of colourful and bright reflections that could make one dizzy I think. The eye is drawn straight to them before looking around the image whereas the eye-popping red arrow signage is indeed serves as an effective anchor point. A very well spotted and captured. Congrats

Hello Lars,
This is a magnificent church building and makes an equally magnificent reflection.
I really like how the there are actual features in the f/g (the branches and the the traffic lights) which give a sort of reality to the reflection. IT is with a bit of shock that the image becomes distorted and covered in writing!
As always, a very well composed, sharp photograph.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Lars,
reflections are always a welcome motif among photographers. Here a surprising one. Hamburg Station has probably not been shoed before. After staring at it for a while I did recognize it although at first I tried to think whether it is a church due to the tower.
Very well spotted and captured!

Goedenavond Lars,
De weerspiegelingen maken uw foto echt speciaal.
En u slaagt er telkens in om alles mooi scherp weer te geven.
Goede samenstelling en de kleuren zijn eveneens prettig om naar te kijken.
Goedfoto werk, bedankt.

hello Lars, you are an expert in discovering and photographing reflections such as we see here.
From this point of view you have succeeded in capturing the whole tower, with some slight distortion that adds to the overall effect.
The tree nicely hides a part of the building that seems to be quite bland.
Thanks for sharing, kind regards, Jean.

Hello Lars!
I took a train from Berlin to Hamburg and another from Hamburg to Copenhagen, but didn't stay near the train station so I missed this photo op. Great capture of the old reflected clocktower in the new shiny highrise building. Tfs!

Hallo Lars,

Hi Lars,
You found the perfect angle to show the reflection of the Hbf. It is like the buildings were made to be shown together like this. Light is just right for optimal effect. The glass facade is in shadow and the railway station in sunshine.

Hi Lars.
Sensational how well you've captured the reflections of the tower and adjacent building in this long vertical image, it's very artistic.
Very effective coloring, which highlights the details of the image.
Good management, both in terms of brightness and sharpness.
Very well done. I like.
Enjoy the weekend.
My best wishes for you.

Dag Lars,
Toch moet je de moderne architect nageven dat ze vaak hun saaie spiegelende gevels op de meest inspirerende plaatsen neer mogen zetten waardoor hun eigen creatie maar ook hun historische omgeving aan schoonheid winnen.
