Another "oldie" in my collection. Typical scenery on the main street in Ha Noi. Photo taken in 1988 with Russian camera Zenith TTL on ORWO dia, then scanned and PP.

Qui a osй dire que le Zenith йtait un mauvais appareil ?
La preuve que ce n'est pas la camйra qui fait la photo, mais c'est l'oeil du photographe qui a donnй cet excellent rйsultat.

Who dared to say that Zenith was a bad camera? The proof that it is not the camera which makes the photograph, but it is the eye of the photographer who gave this excellent result.

we have the same transportation in Indonesia, and many are still using it. and they do often sleeping while waiting for passangers :)

Hi Jan,
At the first glance it looks a bit dark, but when you look with attention the subject emerges gradually and in the end it is finally luminous, cool visual effect and good use of the narrow DoF.

Qrcze, niezle tam rzeczy z tej szuflady wyciagasz. To zdjecie jest odjazdowe. Wpatruje sie w nie juz od kilku dobrych minut i za cholere nie moge sie dopatrzec jak ten gosc sie ulozyl,,, Zenit, historia fotografii w naszym (i nie tylko) kraju. Tez tak zaczynalem wiele lat temu, a tu przy tym ujeciu technicznie wiekszosc cyfrowek powinna sie schowac.

czesc Jan, zaczynamy wiec podroze do przeszlosci- i dobrze! zenit, to byl moj pierwszy "powazny" aparat, skradziony gdzies w drodze z...no niewazne, i tak nie wyszly mi tak dobre zdjecia jak twoje, jeszcze nie umialam operowac glebia, a tutaj wlasnie najbardziej podoba mi sie rozloenie planow i rozmycie w glebii. bardzo fajna kolosyrtyka rowniez, i co tu duzo mowic- sam widok, tez bym tak chciala:-)

Bardzo fajny, niski punkt widzenia, daje to ciekawy efekt perspektywiczny, mozna by powiedzieć, że solidaryzujesz się z wypoczywającym rikszarzem w pragnieniu odpoczynku... Fajne rozmycie w tle i ta lekko brązowa dominanta, bardzo typowa dla orwo. Powiało nutką nostalgii...

Cześć Jan,
to chyba najlepsze z Twojej wietnamskiej, starej serii. W moim odczuciu oczywiście. Zenith + Orwo + skan dodają takiej fajnej autentyczności temu zdjęciu, w tym sensie, że nie jest ono technologicznie (cyfrowo) dopieszczone, nie jest takie sterylne. Troche szkoda przyciętego kуłka.

As the old aphorism goes, "Oldies are goldies!" This is an excellent capture of a not-too fleeing moment. Well composed image with excellent definition and contrast in the foreground, and the blur of moving bicycles in the background.
