One more photo from the lovely town of Tavira. This is a view from the ruins of the Castelo de Tavira. You can see here the Igreja de San Francisco, which I believed was not presented on TrekEarth before. I find it quite nice if a town manages to keep some aspects of its urban development, like the type of the roof tiles, consistent.

Hello mariusz,
There is a fantastic sense of scale looking above each line of roof-tops of the white houses, towards the dome and tower of the church on the highst spot there.
Light, colors and clear sight of details, all immaculately applied.

Hello Mariusz,
A great view from the castle in Tavira. You zoomed in very nicely onto the white houses and their darker roofs. The church rises up nicely from behind them and the foreground adds some nice green areas.

In this photo Tavira truly looks very picturesque.
I think this photo is the most attractive I've seen of the town.
Beautiful alternation of tiled roofs and white facades with the dome and church tower at the top.
The tree on the left follows the photo along its entire length.

excellent this vertical slice of the urban landscape of Tavira. few weeks ago I watched a documentary about the churches of this town and its importance in the past. I presume the video should have some tool in english, but I didn't find it yet to send you a link.

Magnificent perspective on the roofs of Tavira, I like them for the variety of volumes that give the composition, ideally the great dome and the beautiful tower of the church at the end, that type of fir gives a special touch.
Great view of the city, wonderful colors, splendid light and excellent clarity.
